If your exact model is not listed, contact us with the model and product information. We service equipment from major vacuum equipment manufacturers and may still be able to evaluate your unit.
Before sending Leybold equipment to our facility, contact our team and provide as much identifying information as possible.
The return process generally begins with the following steps:
Provide the Leybold model, product type, part number, and a description of the problem.
Create an RMA through our repair authorization portal.
Complete the required contamination data sheet.
Package the equipment carefully and include the required return information.
Send the equipment to our Soquel, California facility for evaluation.
The Provac documentation library includes the contamination data sheet, shipping and packaging directions, international shipping information, and other forms that may be needed.
Turnaround time is not the same for every Leybold unit. Contact us for a current estimate based on the equipment type, model, condition, and requested service.
Our standard warranty and return policy states a 12-month warranty period beginning on the date the product is shipped from Provac Sales.
Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship when the product is operated as intended and according to the original equipment manufacturer’s installation, operating, and maintenance requirements.
Warranty coverage does not include neglect, improper use, chemical attack, unauthorized disassembly, or repairs and modifications performed without our authorization. The warranty applies to the refurbished product or service provided by Provac and does not automatically extend to other equipment connected to the unit.
Contact us as soon as you notice unusual noise, vibration, leakage, or a change in performance. An RMA is required before returning equipment for a warranty evaluation.
We offer new and rebuilt Leybold equipment so you can select a unit that fits your application, existing system, configuration requirements, and purchasing priorities.
New Leybold equipment may be appropriate when you need:
A current-production model
A particular factory configuration
A pump for a newly designed vacuum system
A specific motor, inlet, exhaust, or control arrangement
Equipment that is not currently available in rebuilt condition
Additional configurations available by special request
Rebuilt Leybold equipment may be appropriate when:
You need to replace an existing pump with the same model
An older Leybold model remains essential to your system
Changing to another pump would require additional system modifications
A rebuilt unit with the required specifications is available
You need equipment that has been prepared for continued service
Each product should be evaluated individually. Check the listed condition, pumping speed, ultimate pressure, connection sizes, motor requirements, dimensions, weight, and controller compatibility before ordering.
Choose based on the requirements of your system rather than condition alone.
A new pump may be the better choice when your project specifies a current model, new factory equipment, or a configuration that is not available in our rebuilt inventory.
A rebuilt pump may be the better choice when your system already uses a particular Leybold model and you need a direct or closely matched replacement. Rebuilt equipment can also help support systems that continue to rely on older Leybold product families.
Before selecting either option, confirm:
The required pumping speed
The target ultimate pressure
The process gas or application
The inlet and exhaust connections
The motor voltage, phase, and frequency
The controller or power-supply requirements
The required product condition
The available installation space
The required shipping timeline
Our team can help compare available Leybold options based on the information you provide.
Contact us when you need pricing, availability, repair service, or help selecting Leybold vacuum equipment.
To help us review your request, provide:
The Leybold model number
The product or part number
The equipment type
Your preferred condition
The required pumping speed
The required ultimate pressure
The inlet and exhaust sizes
The motor voltage and phase
The controller model, when applicable
The intended application
Your required delivery timeline

Check the equipment nameplate for the manufacturer, model, part number, serial number, electrical requirements, and other identifying information.
For pumps, it is also helpful to identify the inlet size, exhaust size, motor configuration, and any attached controller or accessories. For turbo pumps, provide the controller model and flange configuration when possible.
Call us with the available information, and we will help determine which product listing or service category applies to your equipment.
Not every Leybold pump, component, or configuration is displayed in our online catalog. Our company maintains an extensive inventory, and we may be able to help source equipment that is not shown online.
Send us the model number, part number, product description, and required quantity. We will check the available options and let you know whether the item or a compatible solution can be located.
You can also compare equipment from other manufacturers, including:
Availability depends on the model, part number, age, and type of equipment. Some products or components may not appear in our online catalog even when sourcing options are available.
Contact us with the complete model and part information. We will check our inventory and available sourcing options.
